Creating a Legacy Quilt you will love is easy!
At the heart of the Legacy Quilts Custom Quilt Journey is a trained quilt consultant who will work with you and stay in contact throughout the process, asking for input when necessary, guiding and suggesting as appropriate.
There is no obligation to buy until you approve your design and return the price-guaranteed Quilt Agreement to Legacy Quilts with your fabrics. Through this process we sincerely hope we can help you envision and achieve a Legacy Quilt you will love.
Here are the steps we will guide you through.
Step 1: Browse the possibilities
Begin your Quilt Journey by visiting our Get Started page. Or, jump in by browsing our Quilt Gallery and noting quilt designs that appeal to you. While exploring the site, be sure to visit our useful Anatomy of a Quilt , Glossary of Quilting Terms , and other Helps pages to familiarize yourself with quilting terminology and commonly referred-to elements in a quilt.
Step 2: Contact Us
Next, complete the on-line Legacy Quilts' Quilt Questionnaire designed to help us understand your needs. While filling it out, please don’t hesitate to Contact Us if you have questions - we're happy to help. Or, if you're undecided, finish only the Contact Information and we will contact you to help.
Step 3: Designs
Once we receive your information, a Legacy Quilts quilt consultant will be in contact to discuss your needs and send a proposal of individually designed ‘virtual’ quilt ideas for your consideration and approval. In this way you 'see' and approve your quilt design before any fabrics are sent or work started.
Your input is welcome and you can be as involved in the design process as you’d like to be.

Step 4: Agreement & Materials
Once a design and color scheme are agreed upon, Legacy Quilts will send a Quote/Quilt Agreement with pricing for your signature to be returned with your fabrics and 50% deposit.
Step 5: Quilt Construction
Please allow at least 8 weeks for custom quilt orders. Please note: Some times of the year are very busy, so 8 weeks can be a minimum.
Done!
When your quilt is complete, Legacy Quilts will notify you and send an invoice. Once payment is received, your quilt will be shipped, ready for you and your loved ones to share and enjoy for years to come!
