Can I have memory quilts made to match a specific decor?

Yes, to a degree.  The overall color scheme will, in large part, be determined by the colors and types of fabrics you send (if sending fabrics).  Your quilt can be designed to emphasize a particular color scheme, or your materials can be supplemented with Legacy Quilts’ fabrics to achieve a desired effect.   

By ‘virtually designing’ quilts using digital images of your fabrics*, you will see a rendering of your quilt design and approve the colors and overall layout before signing the Quilt Agreement.   

 *Although digital imaging provides a very realistic representation of the fabrics in a virtual quilt design, digital renderings viewed on paper or through your monitor may not exactly represent the true color, texture or pattern of actual fabrics.

Can my quilt be used as a wallhanging?

Yes. By adding a Hanging Sleeve to the back of your quilt during construction, almost any size or type of quilt can be utilized as a wallhanging.

Are quilts washable?

Yes, if labeled “washable".  Bed quilts are designed to be washable in the delicate/cold cycle of your washing machine and hung dry.  Depending on the fabrics and techniques used, some wallhangings are not washable.  Be sure to ask Legacy Quilts about the washability of the fabrics you’d like to use, or get tips in our Quilt Care section.
